Your trust is the foundation of my work. This policy explains what personal data is collected on tanyadiaz.com, what it is used for, with whom it is shared, and how you can exercise your rights.
Who is responsible
Tanya Díaz, real estate agent associated with eXp Realty in the Dominican Republic, is responsible for the data you submit through this site. For any privacy matters, you may write to tanya.diaz@expdr.com.
What data we collect
What you provide to us. Only what you write in the forms: name, email address, phone number or WhatsApp, your message and, depending on the form, the property of interest, countries, purpose, and budget of your search, the details of the property you wish to sell or rent, or your professional experience and situation if you are interested in joining our team.
Technical data. Like any website, the hosting provider records technical visit data, such as IP address, browser type, and access time, to ensure the site functions and to protect it from abuse. This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking tools for marketing purposes.
How we use it
To respond to your request and follow up: send you property information, coordinate viewings, prepare a valuation, guide you on an investment in another country, or, if your interest is professional, contact you to coordinate a conversation. We will only contact you regarding what you requested; if at any time you prefer not to receive further messages, simply let us know.
The Journal by email. If you subscribe, we will use your name and email solely to send you the Journal every Monday, featuring the note of the week and recent properties. Each email includes a link to unsubscribe instantly.
The legal basis for processing your data is the consent you give when submitting the form. You may withdraw it at any time.
With whom we share it
We do not sell or rent your data. We only share it when necessary to assist you:
- With eXp Realty and, if the property of interest belongs to another agent within the eXp network or your search is in another country, with that agent, strictly using the data necessary to assist you.
- With the providers we use to operate: the service that hosts this site and receives the forms, the customer management systems where your request is recorded, and the platform we use to send the Journal by email. They process data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
- With authorities, only when required by law.
Where it is stored
Some of our providers have servers outside the Dominican Republic, for example in the United States. By submitting a form, you agree to have your data stored there under appropriate security measures.
How long we retain it
For as long as we maintain a relationship with you or as long as it is useful to fulfill your request, and thereafter for the period required by legal obligations. Afterward, it is deleted.
How we protect it
The site operates with an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access to your data is restricted to those who need to process your request. No system is infallible, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Your rights
In accordance with Law 172-13 on the Protection of Personal Data of the Dominican Republic, you may request at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, or object to its use. Write to tanya.diaz@expdr.com indicating your name and request, and we will respond as soon as possible.
Minors
This site is directed at individuals over 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Third-party links and content
Property information comes from eXp systems and other network agents. The site may link to other pages, such as WhatsApp or eXp sites, which have their own privacy policies. You can consult the eXp policy at expworldholdings.com/privacy-policy.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its date.
